Oblio Was Selected Among The Top 4 Serbian Startups
Oblio Was Selected Among The Top 4 Serbian Startups to Pitch at DSI Event (Digital Serbia Initiative).
– We recently had the opportunity to present Oblio at an event organized by the Digital Serbia Initiative, where, among strong competition, we were chosen as one of four startups to pitch our idea to a network of 70+ business angel investors from across the Balkan countries. Interest in this year’s event was higher than ever, breaking all previous records.

Our Founder & CEO, Nemanja, had the opportunity to showcase Oblio’s multi-chain, self-custody cryptocurrency wallet with AI assistant Lio, highlighting how it simplifies crypto management, trading, execution, portfolio tracking, and security for users of all levels.
The pitch lasted 5 minutes, followed by a live, 10 minute, Q&A session with many in-depth questions from investors, including stress-test scenarios. The audience remained highly engaged, even though we pitched last after a long day, demonstrating strong interest in Oblio’s vision and potential.
During the pitch, we presented our vision of how Oblio and Lio are transforming the way users interact with crypto – introducing automation and intelligence into a space that has traditionally been manual and complex.

The event itself serves as a strong platform for showcasing high-potential startups, encouraging direct interaction with investors, and creating real opportunities for partnerships, funding, and long-term collaboration within the regional tech ecosystem.
This experience represents an important step forward for us due to the valuable conversations, feedback, and the opportunity to share our idea with people actively building and supporting the startup ecosystem in the region, while also validating that what we are building truly makes sense.
Events like this play a crucial role in early-stage startup development, providing direct access to investors and meaningful feedback and validation from experienced professionals.
We’re especially thankful for the opportunity to meet such talented entrepreneurs and experienced investors, and to connect with individuals who are actively building and supporting the startup ecosystem.

Follow our journey as we continue building Oblio and removing the barriers to crypto adoption through simplicity, automation, and intelligence.

They aim to create a business environment that serves the digital economy by investing in strategic programs in the areas of formal and informal education, startup ecosystem development, legal and regulatory frameworks, digital infrastructure and public dialogue on digital transformation.
They also connect startups with investors through their business angel network, support early-stage innovation, and actively promote Serbia as a growing hub for technology, entrepreneurship, and digital talent.
Their biggest strength lies in more than 30 member-organizations from all sectors relevant for the growth of a digital ecosystem.

In addition to their core programs, DSI plays an active role in bridging the gap between startups, corporations, and policymakers, ensuring that innovation is supported at every level of the ecosystem. Through partnerships with leading global organizations, they bring international expertise, best practices, and visibility to the Serbian tech scene.
Their initiatives include organizing high-impact events, supporting startup acceleration programs, and contributing to the development of modern digital policies that enable faster growth and adoption of new technologies. By fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing, DSI helps local startups scale beyond regional boundaries and compete on a global stage.
As one of the key drivers behind Serbia’s digital transformation, DSI continues to shape a more connected, innovative, and opportunity-driven environment for founders, investors, and tech talent alike.
The DSI Business Angel Network has been connecting experience and ideas for the fourth consecutive year, and so far has invested €1.4 million in 14 startups. In 2026, they are focused on turning the themes they introduced at the UnlockIT conference – growth, scaling, and international perspective – into concrete discussions, decisions, and next steps, with investments coming as a result of that process.
